Linfield College

Linfield College was chartered as the Baptist College at McMinnville in the year 1858. It later became the McMinnville College. The institute was given its present name in the year 1922. Apart from the main campus in McMinnville, Oregon, Linfield College includes a campus in Portland which offers special courses in nursing and health sciences. Linfield College offers degrees and certificates in a host of academic disciplines. Students can choose from subjects including communication arts, creative writing, biology, anthropology, and computer science.

The athletics teams of Linfield College are nicknamed the Wildcats. Both the men and women members of Wildcats participate in sports including golf, tennis, basketball, and soccer. Besides, the college has several Greek organizations like the Kappa Sigma, Alpha Phi, Sigma Kappa Phi, Delta Psi Delta, and Theta Chi.
