Loma Linda University, also referred to as LLU, was established in the year 1905. Originally, the university was known as the College of Medical Evangelists. It offers its students over 100 degrees and certificate programs. The academic progarms offered are in the fields of nursing, public health, science, and technology among others. LLU has several academic divisions under it, including:
