Los Angeles City College is a public community college located in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles, California. The college offers university transferable courses and career training courses in various fields of study. LACC is the flagship of the Los Angeles Community College District, which comprises more than 8 separate college campuses.
The college offers several facilities to its students which include more than a dozen multistoried classroom buildings, a well stocked library, computer labs, fitness centers, a theatre and TV/ film studios. Some of the graduates of LACC have gone on to become famous. They include Bob Arbogast, radio personality and voice actor; Billy Barty, actor and founder of Little People of America; Charles Bukowski, poet and author; and James Coburn, actor.
