Los Medanos College is a two-year community college located in Pittsburg in Contra Costa County, California. It was founded in the year 1974. The college has an extension in Brentwood. The name of LMC means "the dunes" in Spanish and refers to the numerous sand dunes in eastern Contra Costa County.

LMC is a publicly supported two-year community college in the Contra Costa Community College District. The college enrolls more than 14,000 students every year. The college offers several programs and degrees in various fields of study.

Los Medanos College is a regional police academy for Contra Costa County.
