Louisiana Tech University was established in 1894, and is a public co-ed university situated in Ruston, Louisiana. The university is well-known for its athletics and engineering programs, and has nearly 9,000 undergraduates at present.

The Louisiana Tech University men's athletic teams are known as The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the women's athletic teams are nicknamed the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters.
