Louisiana Technical College-Teche Area Campus is one of the campuses of Louisiana Technical College Region 4. Popularly referred to as LTC- Teche Area Campus, it was originally established in 1950 as the Iberia Trades School. It became the Teche Area Vocational-Technical School in 1964, and was again renamed Teche Area Technical Institute in 1990. It was finally given its present name in 1995. The campus is situated on 39 acres in New Iberia, Louisiana.
LTC- Teche Area Campus offers a number of associate's degrees, diplomas, and certificate programs of study. Courses are provided in automotive technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, surgical technology, and information communication technology, among others. The college also offers distance learning opportunities.
Students of LTC- Teche Area Campus are involved in a variety of clubs and organizations including several on campus, such as the Student Government Association, the Information Technology Club, the National Vocational-Technical Honor Society, and SkillsUSA Louisiana. The college also hosts the Phi Beta Lambda society.
