Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at New Orleans, also known as LSU Health Center or LSUHSC, was founded in 1931, and is situated in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was initially located in Tulane Avenue. LSUHSC awards master’s and associate's degrees. Several certificate courses are also available. Courses are offered in diverse areas of study which include cardiopulmonary sciences, cell biology and anatomy, medical informatics and telemedicine, and metal health and community health nursing, among others. The institution is organized into the following academic divisions:
