Lynn University, also known as LU, is a private, non-profit university located in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. It was founded in 1962. LU is named after Eugene M. Lynn, a noted philanthropist. The university offers more than 15 undergraduate degrees and over 4 graduate degrees with more than 70 areas of specializations. LU is organized into the following academic divisions.
Lynn University’s athletics department sponsors several men’s and women’s sports teams. They are nicknamed the Fighting Knights. They have won more than 15 NCAA and NAIA national championships and over 20 Sunshine State Conference championships. The teams compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II.
