Malone University was established in 1892, and is a private Christian college of liberal arts located in Canton, Ohio. The campus of the college consists of more than 20 buildings which are spread across an area of over 85 acres. The graduate programs in the university are offered in subjects including education, nursing, business administration, and Christian ministries. More than 40 major and 30 minors are available in Malone College. The institution also offers several courses through online programs. A number of certificate programs are offered as well.
Malone University'S athletics department fields more than 15 men's and women's sports teams. They compete in American Mideast Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. They are nicknamed as the Pioneers. The pioneers participate in sports including basketball, baseball, cross country, swimming, and tennis.
