Manhattanville College is located in Purchase, New York, United States. It was established in the year 1841 and known as the Academy of the Sacred Heart, an all girls Catholic boarding school. The college offers degrees and certificate programs in various areas of study including communication studies, education, environmental studies, mathematics and computer science, and museum studies.

The men's sports teams of Manhattanville college compete in basketball, baseball, hockey, cross country, golf, track and field, soccer, tennis, and lacrosse. The women's sports teams participate in lacrosse, track and field, softball, soccer, cross country, basketball, field hockey, volleyball, tennis, and hockey. The college also has a wide variety of student clubs and organizations including the Animation Club, Christian Fellowship Club, Latin American Student Organization, Right World View, World Soccer Club, and Minds in Motion.
