Marian College was originally established as the Saint Francis Normal School in 1851. Founded by the Sisters of St. Francis Oldenburg, the institute merged with the Immaculate Conception Junior College in 1936 and became the Marian College. The institute started offering enrollment to men from the year 1954. The campus of Marian College is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Marian College offers a wide variety of degree programs through the following academic divisions:
The athletics department of the college fields teams in sports including cycling, baseball, softball, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and track. Nicknamed the Knights, the teams are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the National Collegiate Cycling Association.
The main campus of Marian is in Indianapolis, IN (a large city). The school is a Roman Catholic institution. Marian is a private, not-for-profit school. The school offers degrees up to the Master's degree.
