Overview
Marinello Schools of Beauty is the largest and the longest established chain of Beauty Schools serving California, Utah and Nevada. The institution also has campus locations in Oregon and Arizona. Marinello Schools of Beauty is owned by B&H Education Inc. The schools provide certificates in various beauty and salon fields.
Marinello Schools have received accreditation from the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences. Marinello schools are active members of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools.

The schools offer programs in various beauty and salon fields such as cosmetology, hair design, face and body treatments, esthetics, massage therapy, spa therapy, manicuring, teacher training and permanent cosmetics.
The programs utilize the newest visual and teaching aids. The programs include plenty of hands-on-training. The programs also include lectures, live demonstrations and guest speakers. Every school has a Salon and Spa services center which provides opportunities for the students to acquire experience by providing services to patrons.
The programs prepare students for state licensing exams. The schools will provide students with a "mock board exam" so students will know what to expect during the state licensing exam.
Admissions
The schools utilize an open enrollment policy and programs are provided continuously. Students need to complete the online admission application. If applicants don't have a high school diploma they need a GED or they need to be able to demonstrate the ability to benefit from training by passing the Ability to Benefit test provided at the schools.
Applicants need to be interviewed by an admission advisor. The admission advisors review with the applicants their academic and career goals and help individuals select the appropriate program. Students are encouraged to visit the school and meet with current students and teachers.
School representatives help students put together a financial aid package. Marinello Schools of Beauty have been approved by the Department of Education to participate in Title IV financial aid programs including Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Stafford Loan, Direct Lending Program and the Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students. The school also offers additional funding sources. Marinello Schools of Beauty have been approved for Veterans' benefits programs. Some of the schools have California State administered adult education programs.
Faculty
The classes are taught by experienced instructors that have expertise in their field of teaching.
Student Body
The students come from a variety of backgrounds. Some of the students are attending the school in order to begin their career. Some students are attending the school in order to change their occupation.
Student Life
School representatives assist graduates in finding jobs throughout the salon and beauty industry. In addition, the students at the Marinello Schools of Beauty have plenty of opportunities to interact with each other.
