Founded in 1893 in Portland, Oregon as St. Mary's Academy and College, Marylhurst University is Oregon's oldest Catholic university. Since its founding, the school has developed a heritage of academic excellence through its forward-thinking programs. In 1996, Marylhurst became one of the first universities to offer online courses. Of particular interest today are two of its online degree programs: the MBA in General Management and the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Real Estate Studies. In 2007, Marylhurst University was recognized for the seventh consecutive year in US News & World Report's Best Colleges list.

Areas of Study

Marylhurst Online's MBA in General Management program consists of 48 quarter credits of academic theory combined with real-world practice. Students on average will spend 15-20 hours per week in study. The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Real Estate Studies will strengthen the student's knowledge of business fundamentals with foundation courses in accounting, finance, law, ethics, marketing and research. Instructors then apply that business acumen to various aspects of real estate training. On average, students will spend 10-15 hours per week for the bachelor's degree program.
