Marywood University is located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in the year 1915 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Scranton. The campus spreads over an area of more than 110 acres. The athletic teams are known as the Pacers. The university's male students participate in sports such as basketball, soccer, tennis, cross country, lacrosse, and baseball. The women participate in soccer, cross country, field hockey, volleyball, softball, basketball, tennis, and lacrosse.
