Overview of Massage Therapy College of Baton Rouge
The Massage Therapy College of Baton Rouge, now more often referred to as Blue Cliff College-Baton Rouge, was acquired in December 2004 by Education Management, Inc. (EMI), owners of the Blue Cliff College system. Founded in 1987 with the goal of becoming one of the most respected and innovative massage therapy training centers in the nation, Blue Cliff College currently operates six campuses in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. The Baton Rouge campus occupies approximately 3,000 square feet with its office space and classrooms surrounding an atrium. Although the Blue Cliff College chain has diversified to include such programs as medical assisting and criminal justice, the Baton Rouge campus has remained true to its origins, specializing in massage therapy programs and offering a diploma as well as an Associates Degree in massage therapy.

Areas of Study
The school offers both diplomas and Associates Degrees in massage therapy. The daytime diploma program can be completed in as little as nine months or the evening program in 15 months. Associates degrees can be achieved in 18 months of full-time day study or 27 months of evening study.
