McPherson College

McPherson College, MC, was established by members of the Church of the Brethren in 1887. Originally christened McPherson College and Institute, the college was given its present name on February 12, 1898. The campus of this non-profit, private institute sits on 23 acres in McPherson, Kansas.

Students of McPherson College can choose majors in art, auto restoration, business administration, sciences, communication, elementary education, environmental studies, physical health, sociology, psychology, and theater. The college also offers several pre-professional programs, and study abroad opportunities.

McPherson College offers enrollment to candidates from over 30 states and more than 5 foreign countries. Students participate in sports like basketball, cross country, football, soccer, track and field, softball, tennis, and volleyball. The athletics teams are nicknamed the Bulldogs, and they compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
