Michigan State University is a co-educational public research university, located in East Lansing, Michigan. It was founded in 1855. MSU has the eighth largest student body in the United States. It enrolls more than 45,000 students annually. It offers a variety of degrees and programs through the following academic divisions:
MSU's sports teams are nicknamed the Spartans.
