Mid Continent University, MCC-Penn Valley, is a four year liberal arts university in Mayfield, Kentucky that was established in 1949. It offers programs at the associate's, and bachelor's degree levels in arts, science, and ministry. The colleges under this university are as follows:

Mid Continent University, which participates in NAIA and NCCAA athletics, has teams in baseball, basketball, softball, and volleyball. The nickname of the athletics teams is the Cougars.
