Miles Community College, MCC, was founded in 1939. Originally known as the Custer County Junior College, it was christened Miles Community College in 1969. The campus of MCC is located in Miles City, Montana.
Miles Community College grants the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees. Courses are provided in agriculture, allied health, business, technology, equine studies, education, heavy equipment operations, and pre-engineering. MCC also offers a number of certificate courses and distance learning opportunities.
The athletics department of MCC fields teams in baseball, basketball, rodeo, golf, and volleyball. Nicknamed the Pioneers, the teams compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association-Region IX, National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association, and the Mon-Dak Conference.
