Miller-Motte Technical College (MMTC) is a four-year technical college offering Bachelor's and Associate's degrees in a variety of different technical based programs. Founded in Wilmington, North Carolina, in 1916 by Judge Leon Motte, the school is now host to 7 different campuses in 3 different states, including Charleston, South Carolina, Clarksville, Tennessee, and Wilmington, North Carolina. Depending on the campus chose by the student, there are many different career paths to start on at Miller-Motte Technical College. All of the campuses offer certain courses, but some are specific to different campuses, so before applying to a certain campus a prospective student must confirm that their curriculum is hosted at their campus of choice. Some of the programs offered are Business Management, Criminal Justice, Sterile Processing Technology, and Esthetics Technology. All programs are backed by the most skilled professors and up-to-date equipment and technology.
Miller-Motte Technical College Selectivity
Applicants to Miller-Motte Technical School must provide a high school diploma from an accredited high school to be eligible for any curriculum at the school. The GED equivalency will be substituted for those who have not completed high school. It is also recommended that applicants have maintained a C average or better in high school. A tour of the school should also be completed, to familiarize the applicant with the campus of their choice and get to know the faculty and staff a little better.

Because of the commuter base for the campuses, there is no on-campus residence halls or living quarters. Most students are able to attend classes from home, commuting from their former place or residence or from one of the many places around each campus to live. Each state that campuses reside in bring their own attractions and sights to see, such as the Wilmington Railroad Museum in North Carolina, and the beautiful beaches and golf courses in South Carolina.
