MATC offers a number of associate degrees. It is a community school that offers weekend, evening and day classes at its downtown campus. MATC operates two Public Broadcasting Service stations that serve southeast Wisconsin. WMVT channel 36 and WMVS channel 10 are jointly termed as Milwaukee Public Television.
The sports teams of the college are known as the Lakestormers. Men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and various other sports are sponsored by MATC.
