Applicants to Minnesota School of Business and Globe College should have a high school, or equivalent, diploma for freshman admissions. Transfer students must include their previous college transcripts in order to receive transfer credit. A tour of the campus that the applicant wants to attend should be scheduled through that campus' office, to familiarize the the applicant with the layout of the campus.

Most students commute from their homes nearby campus, able to shape their schedules and travel time around their previous schedules for an uninterrupted life. With campuses located in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, each state brings its own unique attractions for students to enjoy when they aren't in class. Some attractions include the Bully Pulpit Golf Course in North Dakota, the Silverado Franklin Historic Hotel & Gaming Complex in South Dakota, and the Mayowood Mansion in Minnesota.
