Minnesota State University – Moorhead is a public, 4-year university set on nearly 140 acres of land in Moorhead, Minnesota. The college was established in 1887 and has more than 7,000 registered students. MSMU has over 300 full-time faculty.
The radio station of the university is KMSC. MSMU offers over 120 student organizations. It provides more than 135 majors in various areas of study.
The university's sports teams are known as the Dragons, and their colors are white and red. The athletics teams of MSMU participate in various sports. Bradley Joseph, an American composer; Nikita S. Koloff, a former professional wrestler; Lawrence Harry, a retired sports announcer; Collin Clark Peterson, an American politician; and Neal Calvin Peterson, a musician, are among the renowned alumni of the university.
