Modesto Junior College is a community college situated in Modesto, California. The college offers a number of Associate degrees. It boasts of more than 12,000 degree-seeking undergraduates. The college is popular for its excellence in its math department, science department and nursing program. Modesto Junior College's campuses are:

Modesto Junior College's athletics teams are nicknamed the Pirates. MJC's sports teams play water polo, volleyball, track, tennis, softball, soccer, golf, football, cross country and basketball. Hiram Fuller, professional basketball player; Roger Nixon, composer; and George Lucas, Academy Award-winning American film director are among the notable alumni of this college.
