Overview
Morrison University’s roots reach back to 1902 when the school was founded as the Nevada Business Institute with the charter to provide business career education to Reno’s citizens. The school is still based in Reno but is now a branch campus of Neumont University, based in Salt Lake City.

Areas of Study
Morrison University confers accredited Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Management or Accounting. Students looking to graduate sooner may opt for the Associate’s of Science Degree in Management, Accounting or Computer Science. Students with an undergraduate degree may pursue a Master’s of Business Administration.
Morrison University Admissions and Financial Aid
The school has established an online application system. Admission is non-competitive but certain requirements (such as a high school diploma or GED for undergraduate degrees) must be met.
A financial aid administrator is available to help students meet tuition requirements. The school participates in Federal aid programs, including grants, loans and other assistance options. Aid decisions are based solely on each student’s financial need.
Faculty
Most teachers at the school carry Master’s degrees but also have practical experience relating to their areas of study.
Student Body
The school is small (about 100 students in a recent survey) and prides itself on the fact that students are not assigned identification numbers as all students are known by name.
The school’s enrollment is more or less evenly split between men and women.
Student Life
All students live off campus as there are no dorm facilities. The school sponsors an alumni association so graduates can stay in communication after graduation.
