Mount Mercy College, often referred to as MMC, is a coeducational, private, Roman Catholic college located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. It was founded in 1928 by the Sisters of Mercy. The college offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields of liberal arts, multicultural studies, natural science, etc. The college campus spreads across 40 acres of urban land.
The college athletics teams are known as the Mustangs. The official mascot of the college is the Mustang. The students of MMC participate in intercollegiate softball, baseball, cross country, basketball, track & field, soccer, golf and volleyball. The students are also encouraged to participate in various intramural sports of their choice.
