Overview of Muscular Therapy Institute
Muscular Therapy Institute (MTI) was originally founded in 1974 in Cambridge, Massachusetts by Ben Benjamin, whose vision was "to create a school that empowered individuals and trained outstanding massage therapists". Starting out with a local class of eight individuals all taught by Ben in a small Cambridge house, the Institute grew and in 2005, moved to Watertown, Massachusetts and became part of the Cortiva family of massage therapy schools. The school today goes by the name of Cortiva Institute - MTI.
