Nazareth College, also known as Nazareth College of Rochester, is a private, liberal arts college located in Pittsford, New York, United States. It was established in 1924 as a women’s college by the Sisters of St. Joseph. It became coeducational in the 1970s. The college offers enrollment to more than 2,000 undergraduates and over 1,000 postgraduate students every year.
Nazareth College of Rochester offers a large number of bachelor degrees in arts, science, and music; master degrees in arts, science, education, and social work; and doctorate degrees in physical therapy.
The athletics department of Nazareth College of Rochester fields over 20 men’s and women’s sports teams including basketball, cross country, equestrian, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and diving, track and field, tennis, volleyball, field hockey, and softball. The teams' mascot is the Golden Flyer.
