New River Community College

New River Community College, also known as NRCC, is a public, coeducational, two-year college community college located in the New River Valley, Dublin. The college was formed as New River Vocational-Technical School in 1958. After a few name and status changes it was given its present name in 1969. The college boasts an enrollment of over 4,300 part-time and full-time students each year. The college has a Division of Arts & Sciences and a Division of Business & Technologies. It also provides an opportunity of distance learning through online courses.

NRCC’s student body is active and impressive. The college possesses a prominent athletics department participating in several sports competitions and events. Their sports teams are known as the Knights and the Lady Knights. The Knights participate in baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, cheerleading and other sports.
