The first classes were held in 1964 and the name of the school was changed to North Central Kansas Technical College or NCKTC on July 1, 1996. It is located in Beloit, Kansas but has another campus in Hays, Kansas. The Beloit campus offers associate's degrees and certificate programs in automotive technology, advanced computer information technology, and telecommunications and network technology.
