North Central Michigan College, also referred to as NCMC, is located in Petoskey, Michigan, United States. It was founded in the year 1958. It is the state of Michigan’s 12th community college. The college also has off-campus sites in Charlevoix, Gaylord, and East Jordan. NCMC offers enrollment to more than 2,000 students annually.

Students are offered associate degrees and certificate programs in the fields of arts and communications, general studies, engineering/manufacturing and industrial technology, health sciences, human services, social sciences, and natural sciences.

North Central Michigan College supports a large number of student clubs and organizations. Among them are the societies of North Central Michigan College–Role Playing Guild, Phi Theta Kappa, IT Club, Art Club, and North Central Fitness Club. Students also publish a newspaper called “The Informer.”
