North Idaho College

North Idaho College, also known as NIC, is a comprehensive community college located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The college was established in 1933 and it enrolls more than 4,000 students. NIC offers an array of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It also provides several professional-technical, and workforce training programs. The campus is spread across 45 acres and the college operates sites throughout the northern counties. The classes are conducted through the Internet as well as a network of interactive video-based classrooms.

NIC’s athletics department fields several men’s and women’s sports teams which are nicknamed the Cardinals. The teams compete in a wide variety of sports such as basketball, cheerleading, golf, soccer, softball, volleyball, and wrestling.
