Northeastern Technical College was established in 1968 as the Chesterfield-Marlboro Technical Education Center. In 2000, the school was given its current name. It is a member of the South Carolina Technical College System. The campus of this college is located in Cheraw, South Carolina.

Northeastern Technical College offers associate's degree programs in subjects like business management, computer technology, nursing, arts, science, and general technology.
