Northwest Shoals Community College is located in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, United States. It was established in the year 1993 with the merger of Shoals Community College and Northwest Alabama Community College. The college also offers classes in another campus in Phil Campbell, Alabama, United States. Northwest Shoals Community College enrolls more than 5,000 students on an annual basis. It provides degrees and certificate programs in various areas of study including electronics, mathematics, and computer information systems.

The athletic teams of Northwest Shoals Community College are known as the Patriots. They participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, softball, cross country, golf, tennis, and volleyball. There are also numerous on-campus clubs and organizations that students can join including Phi Theta Kappa, Circle K, Patriots for Christ, Student Government Association, and College Bowl Team.
