Northwest Technical College, NTC, is a public, technical college in Bemidji, Minnesota. Established in 1965, the college was formerly known as Bemidji Area Vocational Technical Institute. NTC offers diplomas and associate's degrees in applied science. The study programs include industrial technology, business, health services, education, and marketing. The college also offers distance learning program facilities.
Students participate in intramural athletics through the Bemidji State University. The college has a Campus Government that plans student activities and looks after the interests of students. Skills USA-VICA and Delta Epsilon Chi: Bemidji Chapter are national student organizations at NTC. Financial aid is provided to students who require monetary assistance for their education. Northwest Technical College-Bemidji Foundation scholarships are given to students who are outstanding in extracurricular activities, leadership, service, and academics. Work-study programs are also available.
