Northwestern Connecticut Community College

Northwestern Connecticut Community College, located in Winsted, Connecticut, was established in 1965. Commonly known as NCCC, the college offers a number of associate’s degree programs, as well as certificate courses. The college has more than 5 study programs from which to choose. The departments of the college include arts and mathematics. The college also has educational facilities for hearing impaired students.

NCCC's athletics department fields teams for basketball, volleyball and golf. The college offers deserving candidates financial aid in the form of institutional scholarship programs such as the Carl F. Norden Scholarship, the Professor Greg Banks Scholarship, the Alumni Association Scholarship and the George and Irene Washington Scholarship.
