Nunez Community College, also known as Elaine P. Nunez Community College, was founded in 1992 following the merger of St. Bernard Parish Community College and Elaine P. Nunez Technical Institute. The college was named in honor of the wife of Honorable Samuel B. Nunez, Jr., Elaine P. Nunez. It is situated in Chalmette, in the St. Bernard Parish of Louisiana.

Nunez Community College offers the Associate of Science degree in teaching, as well as several certificate programs in the fields of practical nursing, and emergency medical technology. The academic divisions of the college are:
