Nunez Community College, also known as Elaine P. Nunez Community College, was founded in 1992 following the merger of St. Bernard Parish Community College and Elaine P. Nunez Technical Institute. The college was named in honor of the wife of Honorable Samuel B. Nunez, Jr., Elaine P. Nunez. It is situated in Chalmette, in the St. Bernard Parish of Louisiana.
