Oklahoma Baptist University, also known as OBU, is located in Shawnee, Oklahoma. It is a liberal arts Christian university owned by the Oklahoma’s Baptist General Convention. OBU was officially incorporated in 1910, but classes didn't began till 1911. The campus is spread across an area of 200 acres. Oklahoma Baptist University offers degrees through the following five main academic divisions:

  • School of Nursing

The athletics teams of Oklahoma Baptist University are known as the Bisons. The teams participate in sports including basketball, tennis, soccer, and golf. Apart from this, the university houses several student organizations like the Community Activities Board, and Volunteer Action Committee.
