Olivet Nazarene University, also known as ONU or Olivet, is a private, liberal arts college in Bourbonnais, Illinois. The university, which was established in 1907, sits on a 250 acre campus. Students are offered associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degree programs in areas like art, humanities, science, education, business, and health services. ONU is a member of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Division I and participates in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. It is a member of the Mid-States Football Association as well and sponsors teams in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track, softball, and volleyball. The athletics teams are known as Tigers. ONU also has many clubs and organizations including the International Justice Mission, ONU Young Republicans, Sigma Tau Delta, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Equestrian Club.
