Orange Coast College

Orange Coast College is also known as OCC. It was established in the year 1948, and is a community college providing two-year associate of art and science degrees, as well as lower-division classes transferable to other colleges and universities. The college offers education in the fields of accounting, business, child development, construction, photography and welding.

The athletic teams of OCC are known as the Pirates. Blue and orange are the official colors. Teams compete in soccer, tennis, water polo, cross-country, golf, swimming, track and field, volleyball, basketball, and baseball. Journalist Pham Xuan, actor David Denman, politician Ross Johnson, singer Habib Quderi, actor Patrick Warburton and fashion designer Paul Frank are among the notable alumni of Orange Coast college.
