Orange County Community College, also known as SUNY Orange or OCCC, is a SUNY associated, two-year college located in Middletown, New York, United States. The college was founded in 1950. OCCC was the first community college to plan and co-sponsor with the local chambers of commerce, a business institute in 1982. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.
SUNY Orange’s athletic department fields several men’s and women’s sports teams including volleyball, basketball, softball, and tennis. The sports teams are nicknamed the Colts and they compete in the Mid-Hudson Conference. The college is home to several student clubs and organizations including the Anime Club, Martial Arts Club, Little India, and Masters of the Elements.
