Oregon Coast Community College

Oregon Coast Community College, OCCC, was founded on May 19, 1987, by the Lincoln County voters. Its central campus is located in Newport, Oregon, and two other campuses are located in Lincoln City, and Waldport, Oregon. The college awards associate's degrees in arts, general studies, and applied science. It also offers certificate courses in aquarium science, employment skills training, and retail management. In addition, students of OCCC can opt for distance education courses.

Oregon Coast Community College is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Society. Students are also involved in various other on-campus clubs and organizations including the Aquanauts, OCCC's Student Nurses Organization, and Associated Student Government. OCCC students publish a literary and visual arts journal called "Waves".
