Our Lady of Holy Cross College, OLHCC, was established in 1916 as a normal school. Founded by the Marianites of Holy Cross, it became a 4-year institute in 1938. Originally located in the Bywater region of New Orleans, OLHCC moved to its present campus in 1960. This liberal arts college is currently situated on 16 acres in New Orleans, Louisiana.

OLHCC offers bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as several certificate courses and online programs. Courses are available in fields like allied health, business administration, counseling and behavioral sciences, general studies, humanities, nursing, and theology.

Students of OLHCC participate in various sports like bowling, flag football, softball, soccer, and volleyball. The college also supports a number of students clubs and organizations like the Student Government Association, Kappa Delta Pi, Sigma Beta Delta, Kappa Gamma Pi, Chi Sigma Iota, Phi Alpha Theta, Tri Beta, American Medical Student Association, Behavioral and Social Counseling Club, the Literary Club, and the Rotaract Club.
