Pace University - New York is a nonsectarian, coeducational university situated in New York. The university was founded in 1906 by two brothers, Charles A. Pace and Homer S. Pace. Pace University has the following schools with undergraduate and graduate divisions:
The athletics teams of Pace University - New York are nicknamed the Setters. They compete as a member of the Northeast-10 Conference. The official colors of the sports teams are gold and blue. The university sponsors more than 15 intercollegiate varsity sports. David Ehrenstein, journalist; Richard F. Zannino, CEO of Dow Jones & Company; Peter K. Warren, former President of PepsiCo, Inc.; Rachael Ray, television celebrity chef; and actor Vincent Pastore are some of the well-known alumni of the university.

The range of program offerings available from the school is especially impressive compared to its number of students. Students commonly pursue studies in business and management, education and teaching, and computer science and engineering.
Prospective students are advised that admissions are not open to all; the school selects from among qualified applicants. Three quarters of students in 2007-2008 had SAT verbal scores of at least 480. Half of math SAT scores of accepted students fell between 490 and 590.
The school has a tenure system for senior faculty. The full-time faculty at Pace University New York is well-paid, which often goes with faculty quality.
