Overview of PC Age
PC Age is a New Jersey school dedicated to providing Information Technology (IT) career training in a relatively short timeframe. The institution operates two campuses located in Edison and Newark. Established in 1991, PC Age has become one of the largest institutions of IT certification in the state. The school's programs prepare graduates for careers as Microsoft and Cisco Certified InterNetwork Engineers. Its Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) computer-based training and test preparation software have received excellent reviews from industry magazines and have been sold in over 40 countries. PC Age is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET).

Areas of Study
PC Age offers a comprehensive InterNetwork Engineering program which provides students with the expertise and skills to work as a Network Administrator/Engineer (InterNetwork Engineer) or Computer/Network Support Specialist. Graduates will have working familiarity with network hardware and software and will be able to understand, install, troubleshoot and support Microsoft and Cisco networks and implement Network Security. Certification programs include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Certification Training, and Sun Certified Java Programmer Training.

PC Age Faculty Quality
The school's instructors are CompTIA, Microsoft and Cisco certified. In addition to providing their subject-matter expertise, faculty members work with students in classroom settings and one-on-one to provide services such as resume and cover letter development, job search methodologies, and personal and technical interview preparation.

The student body at PC Age is largely working adults, about 85% of which are from in-state. Across both campuses, over 100 students attend the school.
PC Age Student Life
As a commuter school, PC Age does not offer campus housing. Student focus is on preparation for industry certifications, elements of which are integrated into each course. Each core course has a companion course that focuses on preparation for a technical job interview and assimilation to real-world project environments. All students receive placement assistance.
