Pearl River Community College, also referred to as PRCC, is located in Poplarville, Mississippi. This college was established in 1909 and was originally known as Pearl River County Agricultural High School (PRCAHS). The college offers degree and certificate programs to its students in study areas such as fine arts, business and science. Poplarville is home to the main campus of the Pearl River Community College; there are other campuses of PRCC which are:

  • Hancock Center
  • Lowery Woodall Advanced Technology Center

The athletic teams of the college are known as the Wildcats. The students of the college participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, golf, soccer, softball and tennis. The students of Pearl River Community College publish a newspaper on campus called Dixie Drawl through which they voice their opinions.
