Pennsylvania Highlands Community College was initially established as the Cambria County Area Community College in 1993. It was given its present name in the year 2004. The institute operates as both a community college and a vocational school. Classes are offered at the Ebensburg Education Center in Ebensburg, and the Richland Campus in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
