Pikes Peak Community College is one of the largest higher education institutions in the Pikes Peak region. It was established in 1968 as a community college. The college offers over 100 programs in liberal arts and sciences. There are also several transfer and career technical education courses available. Students can study here for 2 years and transfer to any 4-year college or university.

The Pikes Peak Community College operates through a number of campuses. These include the:

  • Downtown Studio Campus
  • Rampart Range Campus
  • Falcon Campus

There are also 3 satellite sites of the college at:

  • Air Force Academy Education Center
  • Fort Carson Education Center
  • Peterson Air Force Base Education Center

Intercollegiate sports for men and women at the Pikes Peak Community College include basketball, soccer and volleyball.
