The Pima Medical Institute was founded by Richard and JoAnn Luebke in 1972. The institute's Denver Campus offers a wide range of career-oriented courses related to the field of medicine. Students are offered certificate or associate degree programs in areas like dental assistance, medical assistance, medical coding and billing, pharmacy technology, radiography and veterinary assistance, among others.

PMI Denver participates in various Federal financial aid programs, and also offers campus based-funding to its students. It offers placement assistance to its graduates as well.
