Pinellas Technical Education Center Clearwater

Pinellas Technical Education Center at Clearwater is a part of the Pinellas County School System. It was established in 1965. The institute is situated on a 40-acre campus. PTEC Clearwater offers students a variety of technical training programs, general education courses, adult education programs, apprenticeships, distance learning programs and online courses. Some of the areas of study at the Clearwater campus include automotive service technology, commercial art, electronics, interior decoration, practical nursing, web designing and telecommunications.

PTEC Clearwater hosts many student organizations, including the National Technical Honor Society and Skills USA. Students who require financial aid can apply for it at PTEC Clearwater. Financial assistance is given in the form of Title IV Funds, grants and scholarships.
